Setting Up a Buddy

Adding a buddy allows IX Golf members to easily book rounds together, manage points, and track upcoming games. This guide explains how to send, accept, and manage buddy requests.

Step 1: Access Your Buddies

  1. Log in to your IX Golf account.

  2. Navigate to the Membership Area.

  3. Click on Buddies to manage your buddy list.

Step 2: Add a Buddy

  1. Click Add Buddy.

  2. Enter your friend’s email address and click Find Buddy.

  3. Review the buddy details that appear.

  4. Click Confirm to send the buddy request.

Step 3: Pending Requests

  • Your buddy request will move to the Pending tab until your friend accepts it.

  • You can monitor the status of pending requests in this tab.

Step 4: Confirmed Buddies

  • Once your friend accepts the request, they will appear in your active buddy list.

  • You can now easily add them to bookings and manage points.

Tips & Notes

  • Ensure your friend has an active IX Golf account before sending a request.

  • Only confirmed buddies can be added to bookings.

  • Keep communication with your buddy to coordinate bookings and point payments.
