Making a Booking & Booking Amendments
This guide explains how to make bookings through IX Golf, amend bookings, and manage points for changes in play. It also covers club-specific booking rules and troubleshooting.
Step 1: Making a Booking

Log in to your IX Golf account (website or app).

Navigate to Book a Round.

Preferred date and time

Review availability and confirm your booking.
Note: Some clubs may only operate manual bookings due to tee sheet limitations or API integration issues. In these cases, contact the club directly.
Step 2: Common Booking Issues

Book a Round button greyed out:

Insufficient points

Time/day restrictions

Incorrect date/time selection (app-specific)

Step 3: Amending Bookings

Changed round length: If you play more or fewer holes than booked (e.g., 9, 10, 12 vs. 18), contact the club first.

Shortened rounds due to weather or temporary tees: Partial point refunds may be possible with club approval.

Point adjustments: The club or IX Golf team can adjust points for changes to holes played.
Step 4: Club-Specific Rules

Some clubs do not allow paired tee times. If a slot disappears after booking one player, paired bookings may not be supported.
